Sounds like you ought to get that gauge fixed, while you're at
it check the oil pressure.... should take at least 10 minutes at 800
rpm to get pressure in Jan.

'I agree with Mike, a quick check of STC list at the FAA web site
shows no STC held by Skytronics involving the Ranger engine,
Fairchild, or Grumman Widgeon. The Grumman mentioned is a G164(AG CAT)
a widgeon is a G44.Jasco own site listed in JSTreat's reply concur
with the FAA 's database ...

'Try Fresno Airparts, inside cover any issue of Trade-A-Plane,look for
the red ad. They even have the rotor and misc. parts for the SB6
series mags right there in the ad on the right hand column.

'Give Al Ball a call in CA. I believe he has some sort of fix for
these Y150 starter leaks. Short nose Ranger 24's have same problem.
Some worse than others.
