What should that be connected to?

The NA-1 by Electric Specialties Co. (Fairchild Eng.) is a 15V 12A
generator. It should have 3 terminals marked L+, A-, & F-. To answer
your question directly the L+ is your armature output and would go to
the Gen. terminal on a 3unit vibrating type reg.(L is for Load). The
A- goes to ground,chassis or otherwise common to regulator ground. Now
the F- goes to the field terminal on the regulator after first
running back to the "electrical emergency switch". What kind of
regulator/control box you using? For heavens sake, don't forget to
flash the fields!
