F24 pilot's seat cushions

'Does anyone have, or know where I could find, drawings/sketches etc. which show the front seat cushions and their upholstery for an F24. Also how these cushions are attached to the seat frame?

My seats have parachute pans (UC61K) which appear to have been added to the standard seat frame and so ...

F24 pitot tubes

'Dear All,

The pitot tube of my F24 (the long one which protrudes from the leading edge of the port wing) has fractured where it exits from the leading edge and has really been 'bodged' during a previous repair effort.

It is part # 44213, Kollsman type 376, made by Bernard Rice's Sons Inc ...

I got these bearings from univair.

They are used in the Stinson wing assembly and are under part No. CS2170.

They are also shown in the latest Aircraft Spruce Catalogue on page 197
under Control surface bearing P/N 08400 @ $6.70.

I have had no problems fitting them.

Hope this is ...

F24 instrument panel

'Has anybody out there got a basic instument panel for an F24 for sale or know where there might be one available.

Mine is well past it's sell by date and is not repairable - even by the best sheet metal fabricator that I know - he tells me that he could make a new one but that it would take a ...

F24 Seat belts & Ranger pre-oiler

'Has anyone fitted harnesses in the front and rear seats with shoulder restraint ( full or diagonal with/without inertial reels) in an F24 and had the whole installation FAA approved?

Also I would be interested to hear if anyone has fitted/considered fitting a pre-oiler for the Ranger engine. Is ...

F24R (Argus) Serial No:43-15025 G-BCBL

'Greetings all -

I have owned 'BCBL for 10 years but 6 years ago I decided that it needed to loose some weight and because there were so many layers of paint that had accumulated over the years in various different colour schemes the easiest solution was to recover it.
