'Does anyone have a PT-26 canopy release cable (p/n 68499) they would be willing to part with? This is the cable that goes between the release handle and the plunger.

Actually, I think either will work. My rear canopy had a long cable installed, which per dwg 68499 is for the front canopy, BUT it had a small spacer on the upper end, reducing it's effective length. The Fleet canopy assy dwg. appears to show this spacer, but it's not clear. I now have that cable installed on the front canopy just so I can open it.
I got the lower fairings made and did a test assembly of the whole thing. Now just some painting, installing the glass (ugh) and it's done!
