'I was unsure about how the firewall forward is supposed to be put together.  Now all of my questions are answered. It is a good thing, I actually found the proper drawing.  Also, you could say that I was over thinking the problem.  A drawing, #48509, "cowl installation" had everything that I was looking for.   Of course, everything that I thought I knew was incorrect.  The guy that was second in line ahead of me didn't have it right. I would have had the engine mounting ring backward, the engine cowl ring & inner-engine cowl switched.  It did run & fly fine that way. It pays to step through the CD from time to time, if for no other reason than to refresh your memory. Bob'
