tail wheel strut on F24

Mine was, too. I replaced the leather oil wiper (part 43214, #12 in
figure 3-25 in the F24 manual) and its been pretty dry since. I bought
a bag of 5/32" leather washers at McMaster-Carr and punched a hole in
the center to fit the strut rod. If you want to try this I can search
for the bag and mail you a few. There is probably a more modern
solution, but this worked for me.

Be sure its not leaking out the fill plug first. You will need to
disassemble the tailwheel strut to replace this seal.

its leaking from the oleo and underneath so will need to do the washer.
