Has anyone removed the (front) crankshaft thrust bearing in a Warner 185/R-550? We indexed the shaft the other day and it's right on limits. We've made the tool for removing the retaining nut, and are about to have a look, but just wondering if there is anyone here I could talk to about the whole ...

I have a small but increasing throw of oil out the front seal, and perhaps from the thrust bearing cover. It's a PITA because the oil gets thrown onto the front ignition harness as sell as everywhere else, and can short out the spark.
