F24 Cockpit Knobs

The F-24 had cockpit knobs fabricated out of Tan or Brown Bakelite back in
the day. Depending on which factory and local supply. Good quality Bakelite
is not available today. Russia has stock, but not the right color and
quality.

Jamie contracted with a local machinist to find a good substitute that would
machine well and provide a long life. ABC Plastic was the chosen product.
You will see in the pics the brass inserts are included. Jamie had the letters
laser engraved then trim paint added. A light sanding with 2000 grit wet and
you have a nice polished knob.
