Pre-war non-steerable tail wheel oleo information needed

Post by Seifert »

'I fabricated a new tail wheel oleo for my 1937 Fairchild F24H from the original oleo parts, but the original tailwheel Piston Tube Assembly portion, P/N 43149 was damaged and I could not determine the piston tube length dimension from it. There are no prints for these early tailwheel parts at the NASM, so I need to beg, borrow, buy or steal what ever for this one dimension. If you have one of these weld assemblies, and can help, please contact me, Rich Seifert at 714-356-6950, or at 1936F24H@gmail.com.Thank You.'

' #ygrps-yiv-663798316 P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;} Richard,    I do not have a #43149 drawing, but perhaps the information that you need might be gleaned from another drawing.  The files are too large to send as an attachment; I will have to figure out another way.

Kindest regards,

' Convert the files to PDF format and they are much smaller and can be compressed even more. Cy Galley   From: fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com [mailto:fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com]
