Thinking about selling my F-24

Post by Matthew & Patricia Banks »

'Hello Fairchild Club friends,I am regretfully planning to place my F-24 on the market soon but before I list it on BS I wanted to present it to the club members and gage any interest. I would prefer that the plane go to a Fairchild enthusiast that understands and appreciates these unique and wonderful airplanes. I have had a lot of offers over the years but I knew that the individuals were not prepared to care for a radial classic and did not entertain them seriously.  Here are the basics:1946 Fairchild 24W-46 with Jacobs 755-B2 (275 HP) radial and HS 2B20 CS prop. TTAF 2,500, Engine 75 SMOH, Prop 90 SOH. Basic VFR with King 195 com, KT76A, and Skymap 3C GPS. EI FP5 fuel computer, 4 place stereo intercom. Always hangered, fabric and paint in very good shape, nice cloth interior. Red with burgundy stripe and red/burgundy Interior (lots of custom touches).  Very unique F24 with amazing performance and huge ramp appeal. People ask me all the time if it is a Stinson. You can google “Fairchild N4263S” and find a few images from local fly in’s. Happy to provide more pics on request. Plan to price around the mid $50’s. If you have any questions or think you might be interested, send me an email.
Regards,Matt
