Re: Inspection stamps

Post by Craig »

'I have a request to those of the group that are restoring, or have done
so,  Fairchilds that were built during WW2. I'm specifically looking for
info on inspection stamps. If anyone has parts with inspection stamps,
either ink type or impact, from Fairchild, or government acceptance,
would you be so kind as to make a closeup photo of a couple of them for
me? If possible, include something that is close in size or lay a small
scale with the stamp in the photo.

I'm looking to replicate some stamps for my project, but so far, I've
only found one ink stamp on one of the rudders. While mine is a Bellanca
built airplane, I know that they did not build every component on it and
most likely a number of items came from the Fairchild plant for assembly.

Thanks for any help,
Craig

' PURCHASE ORDER??? "KINDLY VIEW ATTACHMENT" !!!!!!!This looks like a virus but there's no attachment so there is apparently no danger. But that's the kind of language I would be wary of.  Could be an amateur beginner hacker who forgot to attach the virus....or it could be I am very paranoid!!! haha
