PT-26 metal parts color.

The Canadian PT-26 wasn't a zinc chromate. It was  as Pete described as an apple green sort of color. The American Fairchild PT's had silver tubing.

'I own a PT 26 that was built in Hagerstown Maryland for the British to train in Canada and it does have the Canadian paint job but the fish much is painted with the silver chromate. Also if anybody has a starter let me know if you'd like to so one mine went Tango uniform this weekend I have the ranger engine
