PT brakes master cylinder

'Turning my attention to brakes, I find that fluid is for the most part
not flowing through the supposedly "rebuilt" left master - only a tiny
dribble. I removed the cylinder and see that the fluid inlet is indeed
blocked. Before I disassemble, I hope one of you more experienced has
some advice that would simplify my work. I've never disassembled a
master cylinder so any advice would be most welcome.
