The holes on my prop nut are staggered so one of them should line up with the hole in the crank shaft. Keep 'Em Flying!

Re: Prop nut spacing.
' Mike,
Thanks for your reply...But my hub nut is not screwing down far enough to start lining up with holes. I only get half a hole lining up. I need for it to screw down another 1/8" to start lining up with some of the holes in the end of the shaft. I may not be explaining it clearly. It's as if the spacer behind the hub is 1/8" to wide. I'm tempted to turn down the spacer by 1/8" which seems like it would solve the problem, but before I screw something up, I'd better be sure there's not something else I may be overlooking.

'David: I would make sure that I had the correct cones and spacers first.
I don't have the data sheets or AN numbers here at the house. I've got
them on a drive at work, but I won't be able to access them until Monday
night when I get back to the facility.

'I've seen some cones that had "built in" spacers, with a significant amount of straight section before the taper.
AN5008-20 cone and AN5010-20 spacer. The non tapered section Dimension E is shown as .438 in the spec, but I recall seeing some with not that much straight. The link below is for the cone. The spacer spec isn't showing up, but I believe I posted the spec to the files folder at one time.
