'I've been busy striping paint from my lift struts and as suprised to find five small drilled holes near the trailing edge of each rear lift strut. Anyone know what these holes are for? If they are for door stops; what are members using for stops?
Thanks

'Yeah, I had something similar on mine with the spring loaded clips on the struts and the arrow shaped for inserting into the clips on the doors. They didn't hold worth a darn so I took them off. They look like bathroom medicine cabinet door holders.

Re: F24 Door stops?
'Rich,
I thought about this for some time. Finally decided I did not want to drill any holes or have any straps around the struts. I simply took a small piece of self sticking bumper material on the back of the strut to protect it from the door opening into it. I then use a short bungee with the both ends inserted in a hard plastic ball to form a loop. They come several to a packet and were cheep. I simply loop the bungee around the strut to form a loop then loop the ball end around the door handle.
Works fine to load and unload, but obviously you need to remove it before boarding.
