Just saw this from the Antique Aircraft folks. Beware!!!



"IMPORTANT NEWS" !!
We have just learned that President Obama will be visiting Iowa twice next
week and while those visits will not directly affect operations at Antique
Airfield, they may impact those pilots planning to fly to or from Antique
Airfield for the AAA/APM Invitational Fly-in Aug 29th - Sep 3rd.


Presently it is being reported that the President will visit Ames, Iowa on
Tue August 28th then return to visit the Des Moines, Iowa area on Saturday
September 1st.


These visits will result in Presidential TFR's for those areas and we urge
any pilots flying out of or traversing those areas on those days to be aware
of and avoid incursions into the TFR's at all costs.
We will have more details on the TFR's etc as they become available.
