tail wheel shimmy
'have to know if your's is 24 G or W different tail wheel This message from Ed Wagner 30 years ago........Tail Wheel Shimmy Lengthen the front trunnion about 5/16 to 1/2". That gives you more caster angle. You can also cast new forks and put in more caster angle about 10 to 15 degrees. One more way to stop some of the shimmy is to put in a Teflon washer at the top of the case between the upper turning assembly. Also check all bolts for any amount of wear. It is a good idea to use a canvas boot.'
