'Hi Jon

I am in the process of completing a set that a friend of mine started. We
started out with well oversize panels to accommodated the edge folds, and
made wooden formers for the rolled edges around the windows. These are
similar in profile to the formers used on the inside around the windows
below the upholstery, but naturally shaped according to the final profile of
the aluminium skin.

I will take some pics and post

Cheers

Stuart

'Stuart thank you. I am very interested in seeing some photos. They would be a big help. Did you make the area around the window first or the edge folds? What teqnique did you do for the edge folds. Thanks again for your help. If you are unable to post pics my direct email in obliquephoto@comcast.net. jon
