na-r5a carb heat exchanger unit ?

Post by vampsqu »

'Have warner 145 with a na-r5a carb. Attached to bottom of the carb
is a heat exchanger that gets exhaust heat through it. We've been
described roughly how it should be plumbed but we are wishing for
a good picture of how it should look and how the air filter should look
(no air filter). Some engines seem to use a boxy sheet metal box that
appears to have a butterfly control like a cessna. These are the only
kind I can find pictures of ..... which don't help any.
Does anyone know where I might find a pic or goes anyone have one on
their aircraft they might be able to snap digitaly ???????????

Thanks in advance !
Tim'
