Hayes master cylinder rebuild

Post by tisser52 »

'I am trying to rebuild a set of hayes (wager FE 2146)brake master
cylinders off of a F 24. I have been pestering some of you (thank you
your info.)for information and will now try the rest. These cylinders
are 1 1/8 inch in diameter. Sounds like most are larger(1 1/4). They
have never been sleaved to my knowledge. Aircraft has been in the
family since 1960. Any ideas where I can obtain parts. NAPA and
several brake specialty shops in the area have not been much help.
Thanks.'
