'I'VE BEEN GETTING MY INSURANCE THROUGH THE ANTIQUE
AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION FOR MANY YEARS. I'VE BEEN ABLE TO
SAVE SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS EACH YEAR. THEY HAVE GONE
UP EACH YEAR, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS OTHER INSURERS.
INSURANCE HAS GOTTEN SO HIGH, I MAY THINK ABOUT
STORAGE FOR MY 19 & 26.
I WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND THE STC FOR AUTO FUEL FOR THE
RANGER. RUNS COOLER AND BETTER THAN WITH 100LL.
HAVEN'T HAD ANY VALVE TROUBLE AND NO PROBLEMS WITH
FUEL FEED. HERE IN TEXAS, FLYING LOW IN AIR SHOWS,
TEMPS ARE IN THE 100-DEGREE RANGE A GOOD PART OF THE
YEAR I DO TAKE ON 100LL AT AIR SHOWS & CROSS-COUNTRIES
WHEN 100LL IS ALL THAT IS AVAILABLE.
I'M ALSO TRYING OUT A AIR/OIL SEPARATOR OF A NEW
DESIGN. HOPE IT PUTS A BIT OF LUBRICANT BACK IN THE
TANK AND KEEPS SOME OFF THE BELLY.
