'I am in the process of replacing the brakes on my Rearwin. This had
Goodyear cable operated multi plate brakes with sintered plates. I
was going to have new plats made but couldn't find anyone in Europe
who would do the sintering for less then the cost of a new house. At
the moment I am trying to re-engineer with kevlar faced discs as I
don't want to go and put hydraulics on as it is too much effort, I
would have to produce a pile of paper work to the authorities here
and I want to keep it looking at least authentic. If anyone is
interested in the details then e-mail me. It is ongoing but I am
getting there.
