'I am going out to Koerner's Kankakee airport to try some of the suggested
remedies. As I said, I am getting desperate in wanting to fly this old
bird, especially when the only thing stopping me is the radio static. It is
almost like having body odor and no one wants to be flying anywhere near
you.
I have a friend who is having the same problem with a Continental W
670 in an old Waco. He can't seem to solve it either.
