'I might make Oshkosh and will stop by and visit. Please
read a good article on the Fairchild that was published
in the AOPA PILOT AUGUST 2000 edition. The second to the
last paragraph is interesting. Photos of NC1595 WILL BE
SENT TO YOU BY JAMIE. Your comments about MC1595 will be
welcomed--whether bad or good. thanks Walt

'Great to meet all the Fairchild enthusiasts at Oshkosh this year. I gained much valuable knowledge from you all -- thanks! There were some beautiful examples of the Fairchilds on the field. E.C. Wegner's F24 was a highlight. Jamie, we appreciate all of yours and John's work on the CD ROM.

My 24 and I had a great ride back to Texas. Now the task of cleaning it up and addressing all the squawks the arise after flying it for 22 hours -- if you own one, you know.

See you all next year, or at the Fairchild fly-in in Texas in the Fall.

GC.
