'HI All
I sent the pictures of the mystry mount to a Beech 18 restoration facility and the owner confirms the mount is not a Beech product and may be from a Cessna Airmaster or 195.
If anyone knows of someone with either of these aircraft, please forwad the pictures to them. We are all dying to know what this mount goes on.

I don't know what the few remaining T-50 owners are doing either. Fortunately the original isolators are pretty tough ... mine have to be over 20 yrs old and they still look fine. No cracking, dry rot, or separation. Hopefully they will last a while longer.

'Folks,

Maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. Instead of thinking what
kind of airplane it fits on, what kind of engine fits on that mount?

What radials exist?
On the small side there are things like the Kinner and the Rotex.
Then you have the Warners.
Larger you have the Continental 670, Jake 755 (L6)
Then really big you have the Russian M-14s and R-985s.

Of these, which (or which class?) would fit on that mount?

'Can't add too much, but looking at the pics I can't hardly see how there would be clearance for any assessories behind the mount. Extremely tight. Could it be something not being thought of, like non-aviation (airboat eg.) or test stand mount?
