Hello fello Fairchilders! Can anyone tell me what type of hose they are using to replace the 1-in and 1-1/4-in flex lines in the oil system? I was able to source MIL-DTL-6000D-20 (1-1/4-in ID) hose, but there is a worldwide shortage of MIL-DTL-6000D-16 hose (1-in ID), and I am curious what everyone uses for this application - if there is an alternate or perhaps better option(?). Getting ready to make this PT-26 airworthy and then fly it 500 miles home, not willing to do that with crusty old oil hoses. I changed all of the fuel flex lines (actually converted to stainelss lines with AN fittings), but am up against a wall with these oil lines...
