'Searching'

I am probably being very dull but when I search for a paticular word (I have tried several) I get this reply:-

"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words .........."

It's not just you, the default search engine setup for phpBB is truly terrible. We have enough posts from the Yahoo! days that any keyword of interest (tailwheel, magneto, shimmy, etc.) spills over its internal, non-changeable limit on number of search results to return. There are some other search options that I have been meaning to try. Unfortunately, work has been crazy since COVID hit and I've been spending all my spare time trying to get the 24W flying again (so very close...) that I haven't made sufficient progress on it. Now that someone else has complained, I'll give it a go again.

I changed some configuration parameters that appear to have made searching better. I can now search for "Cessna 310" or "oil cooler" and get results, which is a definite improvement. Let me know if you are still having trouble.

I know exactly what you mean by 'So close' to finishing - the gap takes for ever to close!
