F-24W - Continental conversion

My F-24W-46 has a crack in the front case of it's Warner 185. It may be weldable. But if it isn't, one of the options is of course to re-engine it, and the R-670 is a candidate.

N77681 is a R-670 converted Fairchild.
Maybe you can trace the owner to get the info you are looking for.
