Tail Dragger Dragger
'Group,Does anyone have a Tail Wheel Dragger for a PT-19 that they really like? Could be manual or powered. Been using a tow bar, but it might be better in our new hangar to move it by the tail.If you want to share photos, send it to my email, please.pt19flyer@aol.comThanks,Richard Smith'

Re: Tail Dragger Dragger
'I just got a picker tow bar and it works well. I get the airplane in and out with no problem. 480-338-7686. The have an Add in Barnstormers look under Fairchild. He made it for me by adding a little longer then normal so I clear the rudder.

Re: Tail Dragger Dragger
'I’ve been using a manual tower from Bogart Aviation that works very well. It is in 2 parts, what they call a Bogi-Bars for tail wheels, with a Drop Handle that get the towbar part below the rudder. See at: https://bogertaviation.com/collections/ ... ccessories
I also use a power tug like the one made by Tower Tow (http://www.powertow.com/40-EZ-Aircraft-Tug_p_14.html). For this I used 2 18” lengths of square tubing to extend the tugs reach below the rudder.

'I've added 4 photos of the towbar and towtug for the PTs to the N69167 photo album. (Note: there are 2 albums with the same name)
