1931 Ranger 6-440C engine parts and service literature needed

Post by Daryl Trueblood »

'Hi everyone,

I'm new to your group and have just inherited what appears to be a 1931 6-440c fairchild ranger engine. It is in multiple crates and is ready for assembly with the exception of one missing cylinder/barrel.

If anyone has one or knows where I might be able to procure one it would be greatly appreciated!

The other five are all standard bore sizing so I would like to find another good cylinder/barrel with a standard bore.

I'm also looking for any service manuals on these engines.

Thanks in advance!!
