Clemment Tromblay Fairchild 24

Hi,

I own a 1946 Fairchild 24 NC81277. My Grandfather Clemment W. Tromblay owned a Fairchild 24 in the mid 1950's and I would like to find it. I don't know the N number but I do know the location of where it was sold. The last know location was Sheperd Air Force base in Texas. The airplane was damaged as part of the hangar wall fell onto one wing due to a tornado. My Grandfathers mechanic was Jim Higgens.

Can you please dig through your log books and records and look for either of these names. My Dad says it was Ranger powered and he thinks it is a 1946, like mine. If you have the airplane, but do not want to sell, please still let me know. I would love to find my Grandathers airplane.

Thanks
Bill Tromblay
