Are you talking about the Piston oil skirt modification? If you are, it is
similar to the Warner.



I have attached 8 docs that cover the Ranger mods.



All are on the CD/DVD under Vol 9, Eng & Accesory Manuals, Ranger 6-440C.

'Thanks Jamie.. In looking these over I see what they were trying to do
with the excess oil.. The reduction in clearance on bearings is mentioned
as a possible problem..

A customer wants to re-use pistons that have this modification done. I
line bore main bearings to .002 for each main.. I guess I could increase
clearance but by how much..

Not sure I want to mess with this...
