F24 Master Brake Cylinders!!!!

Post by super_dan2000 »

'Hello all! The braking system on my 1940 Fairchild 24 has been giving me trouble. Having rebuild everything from the bottom up, I've narrowed the problem to the master cylinders. They are original, I tried rebuilding them with the MK 33 kit from Napa, but it has not solved the problem. What's worse, the cylinders are unserviceable… I cannot find anybody to rebore them.

How do I get a hold of new cylinders???? Has anyone with a '24 had issues where they've replaced or rebuilt master cylinders?

ANY advice or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much!
