' Thought you would like to see this  long restoration project finally run. Haven't flown it yet, but the engine runs really well.

'Looks good.  I am not too far behind you.  My biggest hand up is re-engineering the controls to the motor.  Just finished a repair to the 40" zipper on the rear headliner.  I avoided getting big time bleeders from the needle.  Am waiting for the instruments to come back.  Still need to finish the electrical to the fuse panel, and all of the switches.  Then need to connect the fuel lines from the wings to the fuselage and then to the gas filter.  Found that the re-chroming of the seat belt hardware was a waste.  I need to take the OE attachment stuff off, and replace it with new stuff.  To reuse the OE stuff means that I need to undo the end of the belt, so I can restring it with the old hardware.  I have the wings in place and rigged.  The angle of the wings is within 0.1 degrees of each other.  I used a dry wall T square and a plumb line. Bob

'After being a member of this group for years I find I don't know how to make an original post. Forgive me. My Fairchild 24 is for sale I have lost my hanger lease and I have until April 30 for it to be gone. 81324 is a 24w converted to 24R (paperwork incomplete ) .  This is not an airplane in a box but is not fly able. Also 2 core ranger engines and lots of parts. Will entertain any offer except free.I have some pictures if you text me

' Hi John
I'm in the UK and would be interested in the engines and parts.  Would shipment to the UK be possible?
Many thanks

'John – sad to hear it has to happen like this. However, as with Jim, I would be very interested in a list of parts you may have – I am just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel after 21 years and could do with some ‘Backup’ on the shelf. Many thanksFrank CoxF24 Argus (UC61K) S/N 43-15025  From: fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com [mailto:fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com]

After being a member of this group for years I find I don't know how to make an original post. Will entertain any offer except free.I have some pictures if you text me  John Stroud317 750-9015
