PT-23 Brakes

Post by Steve Link »

'I saved most of the brake e-mails but I can’t find what was suggested to purge the system with. I am dealing with horribly dragging brakes on my PT-23 and am afraid the previous owners son put the wrong fluid in the system. Thought I’d purge the system and start removing and inspecting parts after I get it apart which is going to be a real chore.Any suggestions appreciated.'

'I would use alcohol.  First for you and then the brakes:).  If the dragging is due to swollen bladders, which it may be if 5606 was used, they will need replacing.
