PT Tires
'Getting ready to order some tires and the hangar is a long way off. I know the Mains are 10” and the Tailwheel is 8” I think? What is everyone running on their PT series aircraft?'

Re: PT Tires
'Mains are 6.50 x 10 (same as Cessna 310, etc.). Fairly common so you can get retreads if you desire.
Tailwheels are mostly a 10SC. I guess some may be 8, but I've never seen one in use. The parts catalog does list both Brace yourself for the price of tube and tire. You may consider the Russ tailwheel conversion(russaircraft.com) that puts adaptor rings on the tailwheel and allows use of a modern tailwheel tire/tube.

Re: PT Tires
'Yep, just checked Desser on line over $215 for a 10SC tailwheel tire and $95 for the tube.

Re: PT Tires
'Send Russ your hub and he'll return it with adaptor rings and new tire and tube installed. Works great, though the fill tube is a bit awkward to access.'
