Starter Carb and Exhausts for Ranger

Post by james chybicki »

'Hi All1. Does anyone have a spare 3 tooth Eclipse E80 Type 397 12 or 24 volt available for the Ranger?  I have a NEW E80 Type 756 24 volt 12 gear tooth (Warner or Continental) for trade or sale
2. I have a couple rangers cores, some have the 2 stud carb hotspot that allows the NA-R4B Stromberg Carb and another has the 4 Stud Hotspot for the MA-4-5 Marvel Carb. Are both carbs good for the 200 HP Ranger or is it a matter of choice?
3. I have a PT-26 Canadian exhaust assembly that will not be used on my UC-61K. I want to put the 6 single stack exhausts on my plane. I need the base plates for the exhaust to manufacture the straight pipes.  I don't want to cut up the Canadian set up since it is pretty good shape. Anyone got any ideas on making the base plate or have the single or 3 into one stacks laying around?
Let me know your thoughts
