Just to let you know in case you need them. Fresno has the expanders and brake blocks. I found that one of my brake assys wouldn't move and took it apart. The expander was as if it were solid -the other one had been replaced at one time and was soft and working but decided it would be best to replace both. How is your Fairchild? Finally have some time to work on mine.

'I had one expander tube on mine was that way. I made a mess before I finally got it fixed. If you or anyone out there needs them. I have several backing plates that are in good shape. I have 2 each, that don't require spring retainers. I believe that the pads were glued to the expander tube with something like "Pliobond" rubber cement. Bob

If I read my old receipt correctly. NAPA #1246, is a soft copper washer that worked for me. I got all the parts that I need from them.
