PT 19 inspection

Post by Chris »

'Hi.
I am looking at a PT 19 that I may buy. It hasn't flown or been annualed in 6 years, what should I be looking for. I know the center section can be a problem is there anyway to inspect? Thanks Chris.'

'I think there is a service bulletin out there that covers that. A very close visual inspection for cracks. Especially for cross grain cracks. Tapping and listen for delamination and/or bad glue joints and any soft spots.
