Short nose F24 G & H model question

Post by Seifert »

'Hi Short nose owners.
I have a F24H project that came with two different short nose Fuselages. On one fuselage, the outboard portion of each rudderbar attaches directly to the rudder cables, like the later long nose F24's. On the other fuselage, the cables attach to an idler under the floorboard, which is actuated by push pull tubes off the inboard portion of each rudder bar.
I know from the Fairchild H model drawing list which rudderbar is called out, but I have found the drawing list to be incorrect more than once and I'm looking for anyone familiar with the G & H models that can confirm which cable attachment is correct for these models. My aircraft registration is for serial number is 3221 and I would not want to restore the wrong fuselage. Please help.
Thanks
