Short nose F24 builders

Post by Seifert »

'I'm restoring a short nose F24 H model and would like to contact other members actively restoring pre-war F24's. By shareing information on these early aircraft we may be able to make the restoration process much easier.

'Hi Rich
I have a 1943 UC-61K, been rebuilding it on weekends for the last 12 years. I do have some early F24 parts laying around that might be of use. Oil tank, 20 Gal Fuel Selector plate,Oil Cooler, other odds and ends.
let me know if I can help in anyway.
thanks
JIM C.

'Hi Jim
I'm still trying to get my short nose 1937 F24H project under one roof, to see what parts I'm missing. So far, I need a 3 gal. oil tank for the ranger installation. It is a wedge shaped tank # 48173, and gear legs for the mechanical brakes. Do you have any of these?
Thanks
Rich Seifert

'If Jim doesn't have one Richard, I think I do. I could send pics.
