'I just ordered a kit for my restoration I got mine off eBay and used a ford model A 28-31 looks right and has 4 tracks and top seal with rubber window stops looks like everything you would need and it only cost $60 or so

'I just bought 3ft lengths of channel and cut them to size - worked a treat.

'I agree with the automotive glass replacement shop. I obtained some with an aluminum sub frame. It worked great. I initially tried nails, then went to small flat head screws. I counter sunk the wood, not the channel.
