'N69167 is now located in northern California near Chico, hangared at the Ranchaero Airport (CL56). She had gone thru a substantial rebuild, and now has a recently overhauled Ranger. Flies beautifully.
A couple photos of her can be found in the Photos section under album N69167.

'Charles,
That's great news! My father will be happy to hear that it is still flying! I was showing some old Super 8 movies on our airport projection screen at lunch last Sunday. At least two of the clips feature N69167 in probably 1969? The movies were converted to VHS about twenty hears ago but we have not watched this tape in probably fifteen years. I'll convert the tape to DVD and load it onto our museum's YouTube channel ASAP. I'll also post some photos, today if possible.
I would love to get some more info on where N69167 has been in the 40+ years since anyone in our family last saw it. Thanks again for making contact with me!

Re: NEW MEMBER -- astixjr
'Charles,
I have loaded some old Super 8 movie clips onto YouTube that shows some very badly filmed footage of N69167 back in the about 1970. I'm not 100% sure of the dates on the clips. The Red PT-26 at the start of the video is my father's first PT that is actually a long term project, in storage at our museum. It was apart in 1993 when the flood hit Creve Coeur Airport and it was one of the few planes or projects that was hoisted into the roof of a hangar. Our museum did not own it at the time. In any event, the water was three times higher than anyone expected and most of the "big parts" got wet. Someday, we will start on the project but we are still looking for a St. Louis built PT for museum. The YouTube video has clips of N69167 from start to end, with lots of other old Super 8 stuff mixed in. I had trouble with the video editor and finally gave up and just uploaded the entire old VHS tape. I also managed to put it on the wrong YouTube channel so I might move it from my channel to the airport's channel this weekend.
