F22 drawings

'In March I made a Freedom of Information Act request to the FAA for a complete set of drawings for a 1929 F22 C7D. After several conversations telling me how hard they were looking for the drawings, today I received a letter stating that no drawings for this airplane exist either with the FAA or the Smithsonian. Has anyone else experienced this result? Has anyone been able to find a set of these drawings? Was so hoping to have them to complete my restoration.'
