Seat Belts

Post by woodwing1 »

'Does anyone have any drawings or information in regards to the instalation of rear seatbelts into a 1946 F24. I am working on installing the rear seat in N77681 and am also planning on putting shoulder harnesses in the front. Any info is much appreciated.'

'The standard installation is a single long seatbelt, drawing 49124 Link Safety Belt Attach, 49136 Link Assy Safety Belt Attach. The Double Rear Safety Belts are drawing 40303 Fitting Safety Belt Attach and drawing 41360 Safety Belt Attach. at center rear seat. These can be found at the Smithsonian Archives, since thier move it has been taking a couple months to get prints but they do get them.
Good Luck

'Hi Jim
Yes; I would like a copy of the rear seat belt installation. I hope you are having better luck with drawing orders from the NASM than I. Only about 50% of the drawings I order are filled. I started reordering drawings they couldn't find the first time, and am having some success the second time.
Good Luck Jim.
