'Folks -
1. I am about to fix the Balsa fairings to the lower longerons to the F24. I would appreciate opinions as to whether they should be 'Sealed' with varnish (I'm using Poly Fibre Epoxy) before applying the adhesive (Strong contact adhesive) to hold them in place or apply the adhesive to virgin wood and seal the exposed balsa after fixing.
All opinions gratefully received
2. There is one grease nipple missing from the gear attachment fittings and finding a replacement is proving very difficult - nobody seems to make them that small these days (1/4AF wrench required). Any body got any good leads as to where I might find one?
The project moves slowly forward!
With many thanks

'Frank,
I use T-88 for the bonding and then coat with two coats of Stits Two part
epoxy varnish.

Re: Lower longeron balsa wood
'Thank you guys, very much
- no doubt I'll find some suitable adhesive over this side of the pond and I already use the Stitts varnish - magic stuff but V. expensive!

PS -- Anybody out there any suggestion where I might find a small grease nipple for the gear attachment fittings?
