PT Fairchild F-2900 and F-3400 Trunnion and Turnbuckle

Post by Gene Haines »

'Does anyone have a source for F-2900 Trunnions or F3400 Turnbuckles or does anyone have an AN or MS part number for these items. These parts are used for the gas tank strapes and the wing gap seal straps.

'Gene,
There is a site I go to and drool: Forgotten Field Aviation. They have quite a few parts for Fairchild PT series of aircraft, among others. They do have a Cornell they are parting out. You might find some luck there.

Look under:
Airframe restoration materials, hardware, and original aircraft airframe components. The picture will be of a green trim mechanism for a Vultee BT-13. Click on that, half way down will be a yellow Cornell. They have broken the parts down. John K. Seidts is the owner.'
