' I now there are respectable opinions on this matter out there, why is everyone silent?
I would like to get some input about cylinders.
As my F24W46 / Warner 165 restoration is coming to an end, I would like your opinion on:
1. To chrome or not to chrome the cylinder walls.
2. what type of paint should I use on the cylinders including the heads or would better cooling be obtained with bare aluminum heads?. And what about the case, does it needhigh temp paint or not?

'JP, on cylinder wall, it is up to the user. Some folks swear by chrome and
others want the original steel. Chrome typically burns more oil, but steel
is susceptible to rusting during non use. I am sure there are plenty of
opinions on painting. I have no opinion one way or the other.
Good luck,
