'Hi guys
Does anyone know where I can source a replacement pitot for my F24R project?
Mine was broken off at the leading edge of the wing. I could rebuild it, as
the actual pitot section is intact, but if I can get an original
replacement, that would be first prize.
Many thanks

Re: Pitot
'Hi Stuart
IF your Pitot is from your UC-61, that may be an issue. I have been looking for the same Pitot (Kollsman Type 765 for about 2 years without luck.
I will keep you posted, if I find anything, please do the same with me.
thanks

'G'day Jim and Stuart,
Have been looking through my stocks to see what I had with no luck.Jim, I first thought that you were looking for the stepped type as used on P-40 etc which I have but then checked the Fairchild parts book to see that It was quite different. Have never seen one here in Australia,no Argus IIIs the Argus II here has a straight one in the same position and on the Argus I it is a small one mounted at the strut attachment position. By the way Jim can you email me on antair at optusnet.com.au regarding the air maze please.

'G'day Jim,
We are not having much luck here, I must be a bit dumb but I don't know what the rest of your email address is. Is it j--@yahoo.com ? or something else? I don't even know what country you are in. In the message below you have put A at the end of my email address which it does not have and may be the reason it is bouncing, it is antair at optusnet.com.au with no spaces if that helps.
regards
John Gallagher
