Fairchild questions

Post by Seifert »

'Two questions to anyone on the list.
Are the PT Horizontal Stabilizers the same as the F-24 Stabilizers?
Are there any aircraft serial numbers stamped anywhere (other than the Data Plate) on the fuselage tubing; and if so where?
Thanks

'I don't think the stabilizers are interchangable. That would be for some else to say.
As for Question #2, If there any serial number, it is well hidden. I've been all over every inch of my fuselage and never saw any numbers or plates with information stamped on it. It is a 1946 model 24.
